Subject: A WWW cg-script that has real possibilities
Message-Id:
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

In a mailing list called net-happenings, I saw an announcement for
cgi-script called WWW-MAIL.pl. It basically allows you read an IMAP or
POP server. I got it and I think it has real possibilities. I think I
could use it to build a nice interface with it so that a person’s mail
client is really a WWW resource. I know it would never look like a real
mail client but it may be worth pursuing.
I ask because the “netscape”
people built a news interface that could eliminate the need for a separate
news client. If they can do that, do you think someone will do the
same but for mail within a WWW client. If they do, they should build it
around a imap server (not a pop server).

Just some thoughts.

Vampire Weekend? Vampire Fucking Weekend? Vampire Weekend suck! David Byrne’s Luaka Bop was introducing the real indie kids to real world music, almost two decades earlier!
